About Me.
I spent most of my childhood lost in the pages of a book, living the adventures of the stories I found there. As I grew up, my love of stories turned me to a degree in history, where I studied those tales and characters that transcend time. My love of history and literature met at a crossroads in my senior honors thesis as I explored the impact of courtly love literature on the roles of women in 14th century France and England.
After years of working in history, I found myself gravitating once again toward the literary world. I began writing again, and soon found that I enjoyed helping other authors tell their stories even more so than I enjoyed sharing my own. Then I discovered beta reading. I began working as a Beta Reader a few years ago and before I knew it, I was reading more manuscripts each year than I was reading published works. I am meticulous and thorough in my feedback and overviews, pointing out any holes in the plot and taking detailed notes for each chapter. Each manuscript I receive is treated with the utmost care. I know how much heart and hard work goes into this craft and it should be read and critiqued with respect. EDUCATION
